Stop isolating and start generating friends!

On a few of my social media platforms, I meet new people. I shared a few of my favorite spots, a few of my favorite places to eat, and a few of my favorite places to hang out in my local neighborhood. I asked for an exchange of information, getting to know each other via social media parties. Of course, most people thought I was selling something or trying to steal their information. I explained a little of my way and spoke as genuinely authentically as possible. I reminded everyone that they didn't need to give out specific details.
I settled on a social experiment based on social networking and community building. I want to explore genuine relationships. It's incredible to the extent most people have isolated behind social media. Real, authentic, face-to-face connections disappear into a sea of posts and comments. I fear we are losing ourselves. We feel that our links to friends online or communities and groups online are enough. We feel like they are our friends and family and connections, but interaction with them is challenging for most of us, if not impossible

.
Hence, I thought an experiment and getting to know real people in natural ways would be just the thing. I plan to share with you some of the data and some of the outcomes. And I hope to experiment more with relationships and connections in the real world versus social media. I want to start a movement and exchange of friendship. Are you in?
